Al Jazeerah April 2006
We meet, we greet, we part,
but leave a part of us,
imbedded in the memories of friends.
Images, some hazy and amorphous,
some sharp and crystal clear.
With time they dissolve.
Slowly, one by one.
Bit by bit they fade
and cease to exist,
when all the memories are gone.
